Marcos is a soundtrack composer and producer. He is son of the composer Chico M\u00e1rio, who was brother of the famous cartoonist Henfil and the sociologist Betinho. He produced the film \u201c3 Irm\u00e3os de Sangue\u201d, which is about his family, with \u00c2ngela Patr\u00edcia Reiniger as a director and Chico M\u00e1rio, a melody of freedom by Silvio Tendler. https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6kGCBLff7cw Guild Music Supervisor (USA) member – https:\/\/www.guildofmusicsupervisors.com<\/a><\/p>\n By 2008, Marcos Souza<\/strong> screened his film \u201c3 Irm\u00e3os de Sangue\u201d and played piano in Tropentheater, together with Lilian Vieira in Amsterdam. In 2009, he moved to Amsterdam, where he was an adviser of Brazilian films at the Beeld voor Beeld Film Festival at the Tropentheater. In 2009 he composed the soundtrack for a play called \u201cAmor\u201d and played live on a presentation. This play was produced by the theatre group Munganga: https:\/\/vimeo.com\/11080357<\/p>\n In 2010 he started his Master’s degree in Brazilian contemporary dance and piano play at the Codarts, and he also produced a famous \u201cchoro\u201d gathering (a popular style of Brazilian music, similar to samba) called \u201croda de choro\u201d at Tia Piripiri Bar, both in Rotterdam. In this same year, the artist released the album “Dance Improvisation” and \u201cWinds of Amsterdam\u201d, in which he recorded themes for dance presentations. He worked as the director of the short film \u201cVivo na Flauta\u201d, and of television programs for TV MultiRio. Besides that, he worked in other projects and DVDs as journalist and producer, and in several films, theater, dance and television soundtracks. <\/p>\n Recently<\/strong>, he has worked as music director and composer of the original soundtrack for the movie \u201cBetinho, Uma Esperan\u00e7a Equilibrista\u201d, created by Victor Lopes, also in the film \u201cHenfil\u201d, by Angela Zo\u00e9 and Documenta Filmes and Globonews and in the film \u201cAngel Vianna \u2013 Voando com os p\u00e9s no Ch\u00e3o\u201d, by Cristina Leal.
